Duties of Current Occupation
General yard duties i.e. mucking out, keeping yard tidy, exercising horses, providing feed/hay, skipping out, soley managing day-to-day yard work, cleaning tack, tacking up and rug changing.
Equine Work Experience
I have 11 years equine experience as a horse rider in Ireland. I have competed multiple in show jumping competitions. I also have experience in cross country riding and a small amount of dressage work. With this I had experience in teaching young and disabled clients. I also have my own horse who is a thoroughbred, he is a year off the track and working with him on groundwork and trying him over jumps and poles as when he was racing he mostly raced flat. As per current job role I am involved with different types of horse from showjumpers to racehorses.
Specialities
My specialities are interacting with people and animals. I am hard working, outgoing, keen to learn and great with timekeeping. I am not afraid of a challenge wether that be lone working or as part of a team. I have a huge passion for horses and horse riding.
