Muck out, groom and tack up horses for riding lessons. Teach lessons in between working on the yard and in reception. Answering and queries customers have in person, over the phone, via email.

I worked at a Livery yard for over a year in which I hayed, fed and mucked out a veiety of horse types including stallions. This work also involved general yard maintenance such as poopicking and removal of poisonous plants. I often groomed and bathed the horses and was responsible for paddock turnover so lots of experience handling.

I have also worked at Quob Stables Equestrian Centre in which I was responsible for a section of the yard and the horses in those stables. I had to muck out, groom and tack up the horses before lessons on a daily basis. I often made the feeds for the riding school horses and was also responsible for management of the feed room to make sure that there was adequate feed at all times.

I have experience teaching riding lessons and exercising the school horses. This involved riding, schooling, lunging and use of the horse walker.
