I've worked at two stables , doing general yard duties , maintaining welfare of the horses, mucking out , feeding , poo picking , making sure the feeds were done and given out.

I have nearly 5 years ( in august) of experience with horses, im confident in my handling abilities , i can exercise and lunge , im super confident in my ability to ride and im comfortable with it. Ive experienced many types of horses over the years from cobs to your thoroughbreds .

There are some areas that i am abit iffy on ; this includes clipping , plaiting and mane pulling / trimming , however i am a very quick learner and can easily get the hang of it just like that.

i have not worked with any foals or stallions , usually its been older horses iv'e worked with ( 16+ ) Im good at working within a team and will communicate . I have been around foals before but have not worked with them.

Iv'e only ever done schooling and hacking , as ive never had opportunities to work with horses that can jump etc , i have jumped a little before but i do want to somehow work on that . Ive only ever ridden cob type horses , the occasional thoroughbred but mostly cobs.

ive done showing once before , again ive never had the opportunity to take any horses jumping , etc . I have worked on a competition yard however , making sure the beds were clean and they had water and food etc.
