Duties of Current Occupation
Helping people and their animals (mainly horses or donkeys) overcome issues both physical and behavioural. I also help run a private yard and look After 13 horses of all ages and experience
Equine Work Experience
● Coordinated the daily feeding, watering, exercising, and medical schedules for 13 horses, adhering to strict dietary requirements to ensure health is optimised. ● Carried out general yard management and maintenance duties including mucking out stables, cleaning and maintaining equipment, organising tack rooms/stores, and supply ordering. ● Optimised the health and wellbeing of animals, bandaging limbs and offering equine first aid as needed. ● Groomed horses using developed abilities in bathing, trimming, and pulling. ● Assigned horses for groundwork and behavioural enhancement utilising organisational skill and understanding. ● Maintained animal health by administering feed and medicines in prescribed portions, and keeping thorough records of vaccinations, worming and shoeing schedules. ● Examined animals for injury and disease, diagnosing conditions with high accuracy and reporting emergency situations from colic to laminitis. ● Implemented seasonal field rotation
