Bio
I grew up on a farm with horses and now own three. I’ve competed in British Eventing, Pony Club UK and tetrathlon at national and international level. I achieved my Pony Club C+ and studied English, PE and Psychology at A Level.
Qualifications

Qualifications include 9 GCSEs, 3 A Levels in English, PE and Psychology, and the Pony Club C+ Test, demonstrating strong academic ability alongside practical equestrian knowledge and experience.

Duties of Current Occupation

Mucking out, grooming, tacking up, turning horses in and out, feeding, exercising, preparing horses for competitions, maintaining yard cleanliness, handling fit competition horses and ensuring high standards of care and welfare daily.

Equine Work Experience

Been around horses from birth and owned my own horse since the age of 3. I have competed throughout my life in a range of disciplines and have spent the past 2 years working alongside a professional show jumper, gaining valuable experience with competition and yard management.

Specialities

Experienced in handling stallions safely on the yard, around mares and at competitions. Confident working with young horses through the breaking and early training stages, with a calm, patient approach and strong understanding of horse behaviour and welfare.

Type of Ride Work

Experienced riding a wide variety of horses including young horses, ponies, ex-racehorses, showjumpers, eventers up to 4* level, inexperienced horses and ex-cart horses. Confident adapting to different temperaments, training levels and competition environments.

Competition Details

I have competed up to 1.10m in showjumping and also gained extensive experience as a groom for a professional showjumper, working with a string of around 10 horses competing from 90cm up to 1.40m. This has developed strong skills in preparing and managing horses at a range of competition levels.
