Qualifications

Unfortunately at school they didn’t do horse care so nothing interested me much, apart from my A* in art, a painting of a horse got me that :-) I went from school to Rodbaston and did my first year (National diploma) in horse care & cake out with a distinction but I then started my family a little earlier than expected, bad timing then but don’t regret it now, iv got 3 children age 15,14 & 10 so iv now got more time to work/ride my horse It’s brilliant!!!!!!!!

Duties of Current Occupation

Mucking out, riding, general yard duties

Equine Work Experience

20 years + experience with horses, iv only ever been a happy hacker due to being 1 of 7 children and parents couldn’t afford transport etc, I was happy as i was luck enough to have a horse. Now, married, 3 children later iv found me time again, I work with Kate tibbetts at the moment (acehorse transport) and I bought an ex race horse from her in Aug, from going to hacking forever I now aiming for Stafford BE in July, never in a million years would I think I’d be “good enough” or able to do this but I’m willing to give it my best shot. I’m happy if I’m around horses, poo picking, mucking out, grooming etc I’m far from a pro but I’m confident and the love and passion is there.

Specialities

Hard working Reliable Obsessed with horses Loving pleasing people Caring, fun, honest, good sense of humour

Type of Ride Work

Anything, love hacking but also love schooling/jumping etc (not huge though) ha!!!! Iv worked on a few yards, kemberyon riding school, Ex racing yard in Gnosall, Batchacre livery and currently at Kate’s with ex race horses

Competition Details

My first comp was only last year age 32 which was dressage, loved it, no stopping me, each time trying to improve, also to Ashwood for showjumping/XC iv got one coming up this weekend (gulp) I’m really enjoying it and like I said aiming for Staff BE in July When I got my horse in Aug he wasn’t sure what trotting was, so he’s come on leaps& bounds and it’s oneards & upwards for us
