Equine Work Experience

I have worked within the equine world for a while now across different settings including my own business in photography and setting up an assisted animal therapy charity with my two shetlands. I find that I connect with other professionals really well and enjoy networking and learning from others in the industry. One of my proudest achievements from working in the equine industry would be my work with event rider Lydia Heywood and supporting her cause for more diversity and allowing developing nations the opportunity to access the sport. Through my work with Lydia I have worked with big brands such as Charles Owen, Lemieux, Ariat, Devoucoux and many others. I also enjoy creating content for social media and networking with businesses on behalf of riders assisting with sponsorship and support and helping to get their name out into the equine world and enjoy assisting with social media in my current role supplying professional photography/videography and networking ideas.

Specialities

I have only recently become a groom but have always owned and worked with horses and animals in a professional setting. As well as being a hard worker and dedicated team player I care a lot about my work and ensure I am completing each task to the best of my ability. I am fast and efficient around the yard and turn out to a good standard. I am happy to travel and would be more than willing to complete my HGV to further be an asset to The Knights of Middle England.

Type of Ride Work

I have ridden since I was young and ridden a range of horses from lazy cobs to fiery warmbloods. I am confident in walk, trot, canter, gallop and jumping upto 1.10m. I am happy to hack or school and do this is my current job role including hacking and schooling at events. I have previously worked as an archery instructor and enjoy horseback archery and although this is very new have shared this with some others on my yard who have loved learning.

Competition Details

Groomed at Mediterranean Equestrian Tour and local competitions and supported riders at big events throughout the year.
