Duties of Current Occupation
Handling horses and meeting all aspects of care. Exercising, riding, and maintaining fitness Stable and yard cleaning Attending stay away showjumping competitions Groundswork and field maintenance including building, landscaping & fencing
Equine Work Experience
I have been self employed, mainly working freelance for various yards but have previous experience working within the professional industry.
I have also been a groom during stay away shows and competitions : Blue Chip Winter Championships, Wales And West - Midsummer Festival.
Specialities
Experience within Dressage, Showjumping and private yards working with competition horses, mares, broodmares, geldings, stallions, foals, youngsters, unbroken, warmbloods, spanish and retired horses.
I was riding at an advanced level but have not ridden in almost 3 years now. I am looking to get back in the saddle and improve further. I am particularly interested in showjumping, XC and eventing but enjoy racing also.
Type of Ride Work
I have previous experience in starting/ breaking horses and working with green horses and youngsters. I have ridden cobs, ISH and warmbloods. Some a little more feisty and forward than others!
I have at present, only done flat and pole work but I would love to advance on to jumping, hunting etc.
