I was briefly a member of a riding school branch of the pony club and achieved a variety of stable management awards.

I have also undergone formal human first aid training which includes treatment of an unconscious casualty, CPR (specific to men, women, children and babies), shock, bleeding, fractures and burns amongst other incidents but have no certificate.

I have ridden at and helped out at both private livery yards and public riding schools and am happy and comfortable working in different paced environments, interacting with the public and using the resources available to me to achieve the best result possible. I have assisted in riding lessons, given lessons to less experienced riders than myself and led hacks for younger riders at my current livery yard.

I am used to working with young and inexperienced horses so always keep a calm head, even in potentially stressful and dangerous situations. I am friendly, confident and personable with lots of enthusiasm and a great attitude to hard work. I am happy turning my hand at almost any given job and pick up new skills and information quickly, adding to my existing experience and knowledge.

I have worked with and ridden a huge range of horses. As I have never owned my own horse I ride and work with the horses offered to and available to me. As I have gained experience and skill this has progressed to schooling and educating green, young and fizzy horses as well as furthering the fitness and education of more established horses and backing and breaking new horses.

I am schooling at a Novice dressage and am very comfortable jumping 1m as well as hacking both on and off roads.

I have competed in unaffiliated competitions across a range of disciplines including cross country, dressage and showjumping as well as showing and working hunter trials. I capable of achieving a very high level of turn out and also have experience loading and unloading nervous travellers.
