I would consider both living on or off site, with a preference to 'live-in' jobs. I do own 2 horses (a lovely show cob and a yearling connie) but have no plans to move them over from Scotland yet and would be happy to have them outwith a workplace.
Qualifications

Duties of Current Occupation

Sole Charge, grooming, show grooming, all aspects of horse care and admin related to equines under my care, exercising (riding, lunging, long reining), backing/starting youngstock, equine first aid, human first aid, managing small teams.

Equine Work Experience

Several years working in racing yard (stable lass with some riding out). Around 5 years experience grooming on professional eventing, showjumping and sales yards (Y&G not allowing my previous employment page to show, notes on this under Qualifications). 3 Years experience freelance grooming, riding and schooling. All aspects of horse care, very high standards of grooming, Stud experience. Confident and competent handling of fit competition horses, stallions and youngstock (foals >). Good working knowledge of equine first aid. High standard of turnout, large amounts of experience as a show groom. Plaiting/Clipping/Bandaging/Lunging/Long Reining/Pulling and Trimming all to a high standard. Ridden exercising, schooling and jump schooling. Quiet handler, not impatient with horses, used to a variety of equine personalities and happy to adapt myself to their needs what works for them.

After a bad accident in 2016 I moved to freelance work to step away from competing and more intense riding. Having spent a number of years working with my own horses and freelance for non-competitive clients, I am very ready to develop my riding skills further and incredibly keen to learn and better myself if possible.
