Riding, general yard duties, turning horses out to a high standard, cleaning tack.

October 2018- May 2019: Zetland hunt Worked voluntarily on the Zetland hunt yard once a week on Saturdays. Helped with general yard duties such as mucking out, sweeping, cleaning, hay nets etc. Ridden fit hunters and helped get horses ready for hunting. Cleaned tack after hunting. Also helped out with the hounds washing down kennels, going out on hound exercise and feeding hounds.

September 2019- present: Duke of Beauforts hunt Currently working full time as a groom at the Duke of Beaufort hunt yard caring for a busy yard of 25 hunters. My job includes mucking out, plaiting up and turning horses out to a high standard, bathing and washing down, tack cleaning, grooming, riding fit hunters, schooling, riding second hunt horses to huntsman and whipper-inns.

Confident and experienced rider, riding all different types of horses and ponies ranging from 17.2hh- 11.2hh. Ridden horses and ponies that have been difficult to handle.

Hacking large fit hunters, schooling Hunters, Riding second horses to huntsman and whipper inns. Hunted, cross country, dressage, schooling and show jumping with my own pony who I have owned for 6 years.

I have competed unaffiliated with my pony at local showjumping competitions over the 6 years I have owned her. Placed 1st and 4th in “best turnout” at Askham Bryan college. Placed 2nd in “in-hand” class at Askham Bryan college. Placed 1st in Prelim 7 dressage test at Askham Bryan college. Placed 2nd in Prelim 14 dressage test at Askham Bryan college
