My equine experience includes working on a full livery yard for 3 months - this was until I went back to college. This role included exercising client horses as well as the owner of the establishments horses. During this time I also worked with foals but wasn't something I did often as each staff member had different roles. This was something I done if someone needed a hand. If any time clients needed help with getting the best from their horse, I used to enjoy watching and giving them tips on how to correct it in a gentle and careful manner.

I have previously had the role of looking after up to 8 full livery horses by myself. This meant I had to work quickly but to a high standard. Every one of my full liveries always complimented my work (stable standards and well being of their horse) and I was often told by owners that they were more than happy to leave their horse within my care. This role didn't include having to turn out to a high standard but when I take my own horse out to a show I do receive compliments!

I have ridden a range of horses from different ages, breeds and levels. I have also rehabilitated a horse coming back from a pelvic injury for his owner.

I have loved competing both dressage and show jumping, however, I've discovered that my love for dressage is stronger than show jumping. Therefore, this is why I would like to pursue a career within the sport.

In the past, I have competed up to preliminary level with my current horse, Lissa - frequently placed. Moreover, in the space of two months I produced her from solely competing in dressage to jumping discovery height at double clear.

I have been involved with organising small local shows which I enjoyed, it included course building and setting the arena.
