Equine Work Experience
I am a motivated, hardworking and proactive equestrian professional with over ten years of hands-on experience in animal care across veterinary, equine and private welfare settings. I am skilled in observing animal behaviour, maintaining safe and hygienic environments, and supporting structured daily care routines to ensure high standards of welfare at all times.
I have competed successfully across the UK up to Foxhunter level under British Showjumping, demonstrating commitment, consistency and a high standard of riding. I have extensive experience handling and riding a wide variety of horses, including producing young horses from scratch and developing them correctly through their education, always prioritising correct training and long-term soundness.
I spent one year working as an Equine Technician and Rider for Sue Dyson, a world-renowned expert in equine orthopaedics. During this time, I developed a strong understanding of lameness investigation and poor performance.
