Qualifications
English literature, English language, maths, science, home economics and media at GCSE level gaining grade C. Sociology and ICT at GCSE level grade B.
NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Horse Care.
Duties of Current Occupation
Experienced with day to day working with yearlings, foals, weanlings, horses in training etc. Mucking out, turning out/bringing in from fields, grooming, feeding, taking temperatures, driving machinery and holding for farriers and vets
Equine Work Experience
I have worked with horses for over 10 years so i have extensive experience and confidence around various types of horses.
I have also completed an NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Horse Care.
I’ve worked in pre training, racing, stud/breeding yards, a riding school/livery yard and also competition yards.
My previous job was for an international horse transport company where we quarantine horses in the U.K. before their flights abroad.
I can administer first aid as well as injections, clip, groom to an eventing standard, drive a 3.5tn horse box and also use farm machinery.
I've previously done Sales work (Tattersalls) with various yards.
