Duties of Current Occupation

My day to day duties are mucking out, poo picking the paddocks and general yard duties. I’m very confident around the horses and in the saddle!

Equine Work Experience

I have worked from the age of 14 on yards.

I done work experience at a hunt yard in Thurlow, where is also hunted.

I’ve worked on a professional showing yard, where they have competed at hoys.

I’ve worked in Newmarket on a racing yard for gowequine.

I’ve worked with different types of horses and behaviours and backed my own horses.

I was a groom for a lady who had sports horses, and competed where I would go to the shows with her.

I have studied my level 2 equestrian at college also.

I currently help children with riding lessons of all ages.

Specialities

I’m a highly motived individual, I am a energetic, ambitious person who has developed a mature and responsible approach to any task that I undertake. I have a friendly disposition and a good sense of humour.

I have worked on a racing yard and handled mares, foals and stallions. I have also working on a dressage yard, showjumping yard, showing yard and eventing yard do my skills are all round!

I have experience leading a team and working as a team, making sure I turn out to a high standar

Type of Ride Work

I have ridden different types of horses which include young horses, green horses and school masters. I really do not care what type of horse I get put on I would say I’m very confident rider.

I have done flat work, jumping, hacking, hunting and cross country.

I have also backed my own horses and helped back others peoples.

Competition Details

I have been a groom at a top class showing yard, eventing yard and went to stay away with them where I was there groom.

I have also been to day shows where I have groomed at showjumping competitions.
