Level 3 Extended Diploma in Equine Management with D* D* D*

Yard work including mucking out, grooming, tacking up, turning in and out, plaiting, traveling to and from shows, competition grooming, working in a team and alone. Just finished 5 months in South Africa and Botswana with Safari horses.

4 Years, part and full time, on a BHS Livery yard. Worked with a range of horses all on full Livery from Advanced Dressage and Event horses up to 4* to happy hackers and ponies. Daily yard work included mucking out, grooming, turning in and out, riding and training usually 2 - 3 horses a day and ensuring all horses were well. 5 months spent in South Africa and Botswana with Horizon Horseback working on horseback safaris. Work included guest interaction, the training and backing of the young horses, tacking up and preparing the horses for guest rides, backing up guided rides, the daily care of a large herd of horses.

Work well in a team but have also worked by myself. Worked with a variety of horses - Event horses up to 4*, children's ponies, happy hackers, Safari horses in South Africa and Botswana for 5 months , some experience with colts.

A variety. I've helped with the ridden work, flat work and hacking of Event horses, Jumped and competed up to 90cm confidently, backed horses in the UK as well as in SA and BOTS. Flat schooled a variety of horses from just backed to schoolmasters to ones that need some work. I rode a variety of safari horses in SA and BOTS from more forwards ones, to youngsters and ones coming back into work.

Worked with Event horses up to 4*. Prepared horses for competitions, travelled and worked as a groom at events with up to 4 horses. Competed myself only uniffiliated dressage, SJ and XC
