I have achieved BHS Stage 1 and Stage 2 qualifications, as well as Stable Management Level 1 and 2, which have provided me with a solid foundation in both practical horse care and stable management. These qualifications demonstrate my competence in handling, caring for, and managing horses in a professional setting.

I have also achieved my silver challenge awards while in collage and my first year overall achieved a merit. This year i am predicted a merit or distinction.

I have worked with horses from a young age, gaining a deep understanding of their behaviour, training needs, and welfare. My experience includes handling a variety of horses, including young and green horses, assisting with training, exercising, lunging, and schooling, as well as preparing horses for competition. I am confident in identifying signs of injury or illness, providing basic first aid, and ensuring horses are in top condition for performance. I have also been able to work in a industry like workspace due to my collage being a vocational equine course.

My specialities on the yard include handling young and difficult horses, clipping, trimming and pulling manes and tails, plaiting for shows, lunging and long-reining, basic schooling and exercising, administering first aid (to an extent) , cleaning and maintaining tack, managing feeding , rugging for all seasons, bandaging for travel or injury, keeping the yard tidy and safe and assisting at shows and events. I work well both individually and as a team to a high standard.

I have ridden a wide variety of horses, including young and older horses, as well as those with both high and low temperaments/willingness. My experience includes riding school horses and more advanced horses, giving me the versatility to adapt to different riding styles and handle various temperaments with confidence.
