Duties of Current Occupation
All general yard duties -turnout, mucking/skipping out, making feeds, grooming, lunging, rugging, plaiting, exercising, schooling, caring for foals & yearlings, clipping, handling stallions
Equine Work Experience
I’ve worked on a competitive showjumping yard caring for and exercising 25 horses, foals and stallions to a very high standard. I exercise and school the horses jumping sharp horses, youngsters etc. I’ve also taken sole charge of the yard multiple times and always ensure the safety of the yard and horses at all times. Clipped hunting & show horses.
I’ve groomed at many shows - warmup jumps, getting lorry ready, tacking up etc..
Retraining own 17hh 5yro french trotter to hunt and event so have experience in different gaited breeds and their quirks
Also helped at a riding school for 5 years so have good client communication and teaching children basic horse care
Completed BHS Stage 1 & 2 Care, ride and lunge + ride out safely award + BHS challenge awards

Type of Ride Work
I’ve ridden all types of horses including stallions and currently exercise and jump competition warmbloods - I’m a confident, patient and quiet rider that isn’t easily fazed by any quirks or excitable moments I’m used to all the broncs, rears, bucks, refusals etc.. I have very light hands and happy to get on anything. Have been retraining my own trotter from scratch to canter so Im used to very green, young and gaited horses
