No equine courses completed but I would like to learn and complete my bhs 1 and 2.

Horse grooming

I have completed volunteer work at two private yards weekdays and weekends from 2018 to 2020. My duties included mucking out , turning out , grooming to a high standard, bathing, general yard maintenance, exercising horses (hacking and light schooling). The horses where mainly young tbs, warmbloods and welsh cross breed types. All of them where around 16 hands and above. So I am use to handling and riding fit, young and green horses.

I’m a very positive person ready to take on any task In a team or by myself. I’m ready to relocate and dedicate myself to a good job who is willing to take me on, I’m very kind and passionate about horses I have been ever since I was a child. My skills include mucking out, turning out , tack cleaning, grooming, feet and bathing. General yard maintenance (sweeping and cleaning).

I’m a confident rider who is skilled in hacking and light schooling. Although I have not been in the saddle for a few months I’m ready to get back into it asap I would like to improve my riding skills and become the best rider I can be.

I would like to learn about competition grooming including plaiting up for shows and bandaging.
