As I worked on a college yard for the last year my duties were mucking out, haynets, water, poo picking, grooming, changing rugs, turning out and bringing in, general health checks like temperature taking, checking for filled legs or gunky eyes etc.
Equine Work Experience
I've just completed a LEVEL 2 horse management course at Moreton Morrell college in Warwick. I have had previous experience with all types of horses as I've worked on several yards and I've also owned several horses. As well as this I've had the experience of working with people of all ages due to working on a college yard as well as yards close to my home.
I've also brought on young horses as well as rescue horses to ensure that they are properly handled and schooled for their up coming new homes. I've had experience with yards of all types, Moreton Morrells college yard, typical livery yards and rescue yards for troubled and endangered/neglected horses.
Type of Ride Work
General flat work experience
I enjoy jumping but tend not to due to the horses that I ride so I don't tend to jump very often.
I've competed at a low level locally but again tend not to due to the horses that I ride.
