Head groom at a livery and competition sales yard. Freelance groom at a private yard with leisure horses (sole charge). Freelance groom at a stud farm (sport horses). Head Groom at a private dressage yard for the past 6.5 years (sole charge).

I have my own horse, a now retired ex-novice eventer who i have competed up to 1 metre on. I have several weeks work experience at an equine vets, shadowing a vet at equine appointments.

I pride myself on my ability to handle high level competition horses with a calm, steady energy. I have worked at a stud farm handling broodmares and foals. I have worked as part of a team but a large part of my career i have worked taking sole charge management. I have developed my knowledge over the past 6 years in managing dressage horses including lunging, pole work and ground work including the TRT method. I am capable of doing daily thorough stretches to improve the horses mobility.

I have ridden mainly eventers involving fitness work on hacks. I am a confident and quiet rider but schooling is not my strong point but i am very experienced in lunging competition horses. I have done a little competing myself on my ex-novice eventer. Up to 1 metre SJ and XC.

I have worked briefly at a GB event rider as a groom. I have worked at a private dressage yard as Head Groom and would accompany the rider to competitions on a monthly basis.
