Qualifications
Pony Club C test on a riding school horse at age fourteen. Riding and Road Safety at age sixteen.
Duties of Current Occupation
Teaching children age 4-18. I have also previously worked with Dressage horses, eventers, race horses and show ponies. I have also competed at BE and currently compete at BD.
Equine Work Experience
I have ridden and cared for horses since the age of seven. At the age of sixteen I bought my own pony and started working with horses at nineteen. I then had a family and acquired two rescued ponies when my children were young. When my children were a little older I loaned a lovely horse which I subsequently evented to Pre Novice Level. A few years ago after I lost my horse I started to pursue my passion for Dressage and I currently compete my two horses at British Dressage Novice and Elementary Level ( I also competed my eventer at Medium Level).
Type of Ride Work
I have ridden a variety of horses and ponies including racehorses, dressage horses, eventers, hunters and show ponies. I have also hunted and evented, although nowadays I prefer to do flat work.
Competition Details
Showing ( mostly Working Hunter/ Show Hunter and Mountain and Moorland Classes). Eventing up to and including Pre Novice (two wins and several placings at Pre Novice and Intro). Dressage up to and including Medium Level (Several wins and placings).
