Equine Work Experience
I got my first pony when I was 13. I then got my next horse when I was 14, I owned him until he dies in 2013 aged 32. I looked after them both on a DIY yard so was heavily involved in the care and Maintenence of owning a horse. I would also help friends with feeding, turning out holding for farrier, teeth & vet. When I was 25 yrs old I took my BHS 1 exam. I wanted to go further with this but found it very difficult with bringing up my son. I then had another child so I couldn’t continue with my BHS exams. I have kept up with riding and taking my daughter to her horse riding lessons.
