Bio
Currently planning to relocate to the Devon/Somerset area in April 2026. Having spent the last 10+ years working in a heavily office based industry, I feel it is the right time to transfer my skills to a new venture.Qualifications

Duties of Current Occupation
Currently working in the Aviation industry providing administration support to the Supplier Quality Assurance department. Working closely with the Lead Quality Engineer. Following company procedure working in line with industry standards
Equine Work Experience
I have been riding since I was 11, had my own and worked with horses since. I have worked at a number of private livery yards working to high standards, one of which was for a VIP client that had high demands and needs. I have handled/ridden youngstock and stallions. Asstisting farriers and vetenary personel on routine and non-routine medical care. In 2009 I went to South africa for 6 weeks on a working riding holiday, in 2013 I went to New Zealand for 4 months and worked at treking centres. Whilst here I experienced working with the centre management and escorting clients on a veriaty of day/multi day rides. Here I was able to ride a variety of horses over different terrains and be able to look after clients in demanding/stressful situations. Take sole charge of groups of customers, make sure they are safe and happy. Accomadation them on their trips by providing hospitality whilst staying at the centre.

I work well on my own or within a team. I have experience working in a fast paced and demanding industry. Following procedures and time scales. I believe communication is key no matter what job you are doing or what industry you are in. I am able to priorities and delegate task for the day/week depending on work load and needs of the business. I'm hard working and friendly. I like to get jobs done before the end of the day and am conscious if I don't meet my own expectations.
Type of Ride Work
I am a competent, quiet rider that takes my time to get what is asked from the horse that I am riding. Although a lot of my riding hasn't been at a competitive level, I am capable and quick at learning. I have a desire to improve my technical riding and eventually compete in novice dressage. Whilst working at different livery yards I have been required to ride a minimum of 5 horses a day ranging from happy hacking to schooling. I have also done to natural horsemanship training.
