Horses have been part of my life for over 20 years.
I have owned my own horses during the years some of which lived at my home yard. Volunteered as a Pony Club care achievement badges trainer. I was a trainer at a junior camp week which was great fun and rewarding to see their progress through the week.
I love getting to know the different personalities of horses on a yard while caring for them and keeping them in top condition. I try and ride at least once a week, I enjoy riding different horses and working each one to achieve an improvement. Sometimes I have focused on one horse and had a project to complete, this can be very satisfying.

For the last year and a half, I have volunteered at a riding school to support my move into more full-time work within the horse industry. I covered various roles including; office paperwork/ customer services/payment, yard lead, hack lead and Pony Club care trainer.

With my high organisational skills, I am interested in how equestrian yards and events are organised and run. I have one year of experience as a jump judge at various horse events. I also know the event scoring.
