Equine Work Experience
I came into the industry in my mid 40's and confess that I’m still a novice horseman but have spent the last few years freelancing & volunteering at DIY yards, livery yards, riding schools and racing yards. I’ve obtained ‘’BHS stage 1 care’’ and am working towards stage 2 care. I’ve undertaken some work experience at Liphook Equine hospital and have attended a racehorse handling course at the British Racing School in Newmarket. Clients have complimented me In that I have a quiet nature around the horses which has helped with keeping them calm & relaxed. I have become passionate about dressage and groom for 2 individuals who compete BD & CDI. I WOULD TRULY WELCOME ANY OPPORTUNITY to gain more equestrian experience and knowledge, whether paid or voluntary and happy to travel ANYWHERE to gain this experience.
Specialities
I have a passion for the care and welfare of horses and a great hunger to be the best horseman I can be. I am quiet and gentle with horses which reflects in the bond that I have developed with them. I'm fascinated by the horse whispering side of things am keen to develope this in the future.
