Just completed my level 2 equine management riding section

Mucking out/skip out Turning out/bringing in Poo picking Harrowing the schools Maintenance of the yard Writing the exercise diary Tacking up and preparing for lessons Riding - schooling, lunging, jumping, hacking Check/ lock up yards

I was originally helping out on weekends at a riding school tacking up and untacking horses for lessons aswell as helping out for the day.

I helped out at a race yard mucking out, putting horses on and off the Walker and grooming/ preparing them for exercise.

I helped out at a hunt yard for a little bit preparing the horses - plating and clipping (still learning in this area)

I’m currently working at a riding school/livery yard where I do general yard duties, exercise the horses, prepare them for lessons/ assist with lesson clients getting on and off, turning out and bringing in.

Hi my names Ellie I’m 18 and have had horses basically all my life, I’ve just passed my level 2 equine groom/riding section qualification so know my way around a yard to a high standard and work well independently and part of a team but also still very eager to learn and get involved with new things. I’m use to sole running a yard but also work well in a team I’m in the process of finishing my notice period where I currently am which I believe my last day is around the 10-14th June (can confirm)

I’ve ridden a variety of horses: Riding school horses - schooling, hacking, lunging, jumping I currently have an Ex 5* eventer on loan - schooling hacking, lunging, jumping sj and xc 90cm

I currently compete my horse that I have on loan in showjumping around 80-90cm. Never been a competition groom but something id definitely like to do.
