Equine Work Experience

I started helping out in riding schools in Poland from the age of 12. My duties were to assist in horse riding lessons and do the general yard duties/looking after the horses in return for riding lessons. At the age of 16 I moved over to England where I admired the Equestrian world in this beautiful country. I went to college to study about horse care whilst having a part time job with horses. Since finishing college worked at many different riding schools, livery yards and competition centres. I found the most interest in dressage as I fell in love with a friesian horse that I went to compete in Parwood Equestrian Centre. During my stay and work in Parwood I learned to work to a very high standards and had to take sole charge of the horses in assistance of my colleague that I worked with. I work well in a team and on my own, although having a slight OCD I prefer working on my own as I’ve got a very high work ethic. I take care of each horse as if he was mine.

Specialities

I have many years of experience working in the equine industry both taking sole charge care of the horses and teaching horse riding lessons. I take a lot of pride in my work and always aim to work to high standards. I am also a qualified level 2 and 3 REPS personal trainer fascinated about health and fitness.

Type of Ride Work

I have experience riding different levels of horses. Ranging from youngsters to having the pleasure of yard owner to allow me to ride a Grand Prix horses. When asked to ride problem horses I believe the groundwork is a foundation before getting on the horses. I like to get to know the horses on the ground and check that the horse is comfortable before mounting.
