I previously worked at a horse riding stables , where I did a bit of everything : lunging , plaiting , clipping , riding , leading hacks , helped in lessons , mucked out , brought in and turned out horses , groomed and tacked up and other hard duties

I’ve been around horses since I was 4 years old , from then I’ve worked at 2 stables , one which was a riding stables where I helped around the yard e.g mucking out , bringing in and turning out horses , feeding , grooming , tacking up , and when events were on I would plait the horses if needed and also clip any of the ones that needed it during the winter . The other Yard I worked at was a race yard where I did similar things , working / exercising the young up coming race horses , bathing when needed , if the horses needed to be rugged I was able to do that, I have done some lunging when horses needed rehabbing

I’ve worked with a lot of different horses Race horses , riding school horses/ponies , polo horses , I led a small team at the previous stables I worked at , I’ve worked with young stock e.g groundwork and backing

I’ve ridden a range of different horses , race horses , jumpers , polo ponies at the riding stables I used to work at I did a lot of flat work with youngsters and would have the occasional jumping lesson , I did a lot of hacking from just walk rides to canter and galloping in open fields . I used to also ride polo ponies where I’ve played matches for my local polo team.

I’ve done a few small unaffiliated shows (show jumping) but at a low level
