Hi I’m Lucy, a 31 year old single woman living and working in Henley on Thames. I am a bubbly and adventurous person alongside being a passionate animal lover. Iv been in the industry for over 10 years which has given me a huge amount of experience.Qualifications

Duties of Current Occupation
All yard duties to a high standard. Exercising a variety of horses. Liaising with other equine professionals.
Equine Work Experience
I have worked in multiple roles across a selection of yards which has given me wide range of knowledge, experience and understanding.
Currently I am a sole charge groom for a private dressage and polo yard, within this role I provide all normal yard duties, including exercising both polo ponies and dressage horses. I also liaise with an array of equine professionals.
Prior to this I was a yard manager for an equine assisted therapy centre which again required all normal yard duties, leading and managing a team as well as working with young and vulnerable people.
Before this I was a senior groom for a 5* livery yard. Alongside all normal care and duties of my allocated horses there was a great deal of supervisory care and management that I provided, including inducting and overseeing new starters to ensure standards were maintained. Exercising a wide range of clients horses on a regular basis, including providing lessons to clients and other members of staff.
Specialities
Managed multiple teams from beginners right through to experienced horse people with an emphasis of providing excellent care and attention to detail.
Teaching riding and all forms of stable management.
Type of Ride Work
Mainly dressage and hacking on a wide selection of horses. Exercising for polo.
Competition Details
Iv competed a hand full of times on clients horses. Mainly novice and elementary level dressage.
I have worked as a competition groom multiple times, l enjoy and thrive being in a busy environment.
