I have recently completed a level 3 Diploma in Equine management.

General care of riding school and livery horses. Mucking out, feeding/preparing feeds, grooming, tacking up, washing off, exercising (lunging, hacking and schooling) ensuring horse are in good health and attending to minor wounds.

I have recently completed a 2 year Equine Management diploma at Moreton Morrell College. During my time studying I learned a variety of practical skills as well as theoretical knowledge. I was also given the chance to ride a range of horses varying from schoolmasters to youngsters. I have worked on a busy riding school and livery yard for the last 3 years. I have had lots of customer facing experiences such as working in the office, leading hacks and assisting in lessons as well as lots of hands on yard work. Along side work and study I have also had the opportunity to ride and compete 2 horses for their owner.

I am a keen and reliable worker with lots of experience. I passionate about horses and am open to learning new skills.

I have ridden a large range of horses from schoolmasters to youngsters. I am a calm and confident rider and am willing to learn/take instruction. I can schools horses on the flat up to novice level and have a good understanding of the scales of training and their use within sessions. I have taken horses on fun rides, hunt rides and hound exercises, however have not hunted (would be very willing if the opportunity arose) I am happy to ride young, strong or fizzy horses from 14.2hh upwards.

I have competed in a variety of disciplines including dressage, showjumping and eventing. Recently I have been schooling an inexperienced horse who I am now eventing at 80cm and showjumping at 90cm.

Through my time at college I was given lots of opportunities to help at one day events, I have performed a variety of tasks including fence judging, dressage stewarding, XC starter and working in the XC control.

I have also groomed and worked in at low level dressage competitions.
