Equine qualifications: Level 2 Equine managment

Mucking out, Skipping out, Turning in and out, Feeding, Lunging, Long reigning, Schooling, Hacking, Clipping/plaiting/pulling/trimming, Bathing, Rug changing, Paddock maintenance, Tack cleaning, Working with the public , Teaching, Managing.

My equine experiences:

I have been working in equine full time for the past 3-4 years now. I have a level 2 equine engagement qualification. I also have my BHS stages . However my experience with horses started when i was younger and have grown up in and around them. I have a lot of experience working at different yards such as: Eventing/livery yard Riding school Hunting yard Dressage yard

I have gained more experience in the different yards shown above. Learned a lot of different perspectives about the equine and industry and how profession should be shown. I think the biggest thing i have learned is

1. Presentation
2. Profession 3.Honesty 4.Teamwork These four things have helped me in each yard and have taught me how to work happily in the environment i work in.

My key skills: To describe how i work and what I'm most efficient at is: I like to work to a set routine to what needs to be completed throughout the day, I like to set time scales to each job I do, as this helps me to be quick and do the job to a high standard. I like to have responsibility, this gives me drive to achieve well and be organized, I have experienced of working on: Eventing/Livery yards, Riding schools, Hunting yards and experience of dressage yards.

Riding for the past 4-5 years: I would class myself as an intermediate rider. I have ridden green horses, that need to be schooled and hacked before becoming riding school horses. I have had some of my own I have taken out clients before on hacks at riding schools.
