I have a level 3 qualification in Animal Care, one of my modules included horse and pony care.

Yard work for G&T racing, based in Marton. Mucking out, putting on & removing rugs, putting horses on and off walkers. Providing hay & feed. Have completed a adult horse care course with Brampton stables.

I worked with G&T racing for 8 months, mainly Saturday and Sunday mornings mucking out & providing extra yard duties, they have over 40 thoroughbred race horses so mucking out/turning out was to be performed quickly and to a high standard. I sadly had to leave the position due to moving house so am looking to do a similar job and would love to learn more about grooming and general care. I have riding lessons several times a month. I rode/mucked out my aunt's horses as a child.

I have ridden a variety of horses, as a child mainly thoroughbreds, as an adult I have lessons on schooling ponies, which have ranged from Shires to thoroughbreds, but would be confident on any horse or pony as long as it is 13hands or more due to my height. I am confident with flatwork and I am currently learning to jump.
