Qualifications

Unfortunately I haven't, yet this doesn't affect my ability nor should it define who I am and my capabilities to complete a job to a high standard.

Duties of Current Occupation

Customer service, some lifting with the deliveries, maintaining the shop floor. As I have my own horse I do general yard duties daily and also help out others with their horses.

Equine Work Experience

I have worked at one yard previously in the summer of 2021 when I was 16. I worked with 5 Arabian horses and this concluded of mucking out, turning out, occasional working the horses and poo picking.

I did a weekend trial at an equestrian centre that consisted of 30+ horses and i thoroughly enjoyed it.

Specialities

I have worked with youngsters having backed my own mare and I have been producing her for the last year to a showjumping standard. I have previously backed horses and handled miniature stallions and larger stallions too. I am good at mucking out and I don't faff. I get the job done to a good standard and take pride in my work. With my horse being 17.2 and quite flighty at times, turnout isn't an issue. I have previously turned out many large horses for friends.

Type of Ride Work

I ride my own horse at the moment that I backed myself last year but I have ridden many problem horses over the years - buckers, rearers, napping horses etc and I don't lose confidence easily. Flatwork is my forte, I have videos and photos upon request. I have previously show jumped up to 1m however since backing my current horse - showjumping has been on the sidelines as that is what we are working towards. I have our first affiliated show upcoming in June at the midsummer festival in Wales.

Competition Details

I have competed affiliated a few times with my previous horse.
