Currently finishing my psychology degree at uni. Looking to get back into horses and continue with my BHS stages.

I started properly riding horses at the age of 9 where I helped out at a small yard grooming, mucking out, tacking up for lessons etc I helped teach some lessons which was a lot of fun. I then purchased my first ‘very crazy’ horse (probably not suited to me then a novice) however we both taught each other something and he made me the rider I am today! I then kept him for a few years hacking and competing in small shows. I then sold him and joined Hadlow college in Kent to study my Level 2 diploma in horse care. I then brought another horse by which I kept until I was 17 when I had to sell him in order to buy myself a car. I have longed to return to horses and the love and passion has never left me. The 8 years I’ve spent out I had my daughter (now 4) and gained a psychology degree at university. After realising I don’t want to pursue a career in psychology I’ve decided to return to my much loved hobby. Hoping to continue taking my BHS stages to eventually become a riding instructor.

All sorts! A confident rider happy to ride any horse. It’s just a matter of getting me back into the swing of things and get back my skills. I thoroughly enjoy jumping, I have experience in lunging, schooling, hacking and some experience long reining. I’m happy to back youngsters or problem horses.
