Duties of Current Occupation
Practical, adaptable, and hard working, with a strong background in agriculture, viticulture, machinery operation, alongside experience in equine and livestock management. Hands on work ethic with calm problem-solving.
Equine Work Experience
Experince owning and riding horses. Completed my extended diploma in equine management in 2014 and worked on hunting, show jumping and racing yards both in the UK and Australia. I moved away from horses and have worked in agriculture for the last few years but I’m looking to return to the equine industry. Despite not working directly with horses I have continued to ride and follow The equine industry. I have previously owned horses but do not have one of my own at the moment. I’m relaxed and fair with the horses and also have tractor/cattle experince. Always happy to learn and help out
Specialities
Worked with foals, stallions, hunters, racers, and showjumpers. Management experience along with health & safety, chemical handling, and machinery operation. Happy to muck in and muck out. Not worried about long hours or handling things I haven't done before. Good attitude to work, and I like to have fun and enjoy my job too. Have my level 3 extended diploma in equine management as well as my BHS Stage 2 exam. Can pull a trailer, quads, tractors, even a wheel barrow.
Type of Ride Work
Ridden horses XC, show jumping, hunting, breakers, gallops. Have recently been taking flat work and jumping lessons. Happy to school or hack horses alone or in company. Have experince with breaking horses in and working with young horses but it has been a little while so I might be abit rusty. I have ridden all kinds of horses inluding young stock, racers, ponies, hunters and show jumpers. I have a calm and willing attitude and always keen to learn and further my skills. I enjoy learning.
Competition Details
Competed successfully up to 80cm show jumping and cross country. As well as local clinics, dressage & Hunting. I have worked at show jumping competitions, including Hickstead international show. I have also groomed and turned out for races and hunting.
