I have no equine related qualifications but would be happy to learn on the job.

Organising meetings and appointments. Acting as a first point of contact by dealing with correspondence and phone calls. Reminding the Founder of important tasks and deadlines. Showing great organisational and communication skills.

I grew up working as a stable hand, for over 4 years and still go riding when I can. I have had experience in teaching riding lessons with up to 5 children in a class. I used to schedule in new appointments by phone, email and face-to-face. I have had experience in organising a busy diary to help the stables to run efficiently and making sure to ensure that lessons were punctual, well-organised and structured.

Working as a manager of a shop as well as my role as a personal assistant I am used to leading a small team of people to over see the daily tasks needed to provide a smooth running business. I have a very high standard to not only the yard but my appearance as well. I am efficient in mucking out and always keep a clean and tidy yard.

I have ridden a variation of different horses as I used to work in a livery and riding school. I am confident in getting on any horse to ride around the school or on hacks. I am happy to exercise horses on flat work, over jumps and a small amount of dressage.

I have competed in low level dressage competitions and some in house competitions. I have been a competition groom before and am confident to do this again.
