I started working on a livery/stud yard for 3 years where I kept my horse. Then I worked on a profesional event yard for a year where I completed an equine apprenticeship. I worked closely with the head girl travelling to most events learning to groom at competitions, I rode all the eventers in the school and hacking and was sole charge when needed making sure the yard ran smoothly when they were away. After my apprenticeship I worked for another event rider as the only member of staff I was sole charge alot of the time. I travelled to events and ran the yard when they were not there. I have also worked as a yard manger/ traveling groom on a 5* event yard and recently worked grooming for a dressage rider up to PSG. I then worked on a military yard, looking after and riding horses at home as well as preparing for and going to parades in London and coaching riders. I am currently working on an Arabian stud yard where the main focus is in hand showing.
