Riding (all disciplines), turnout, plaiting, lunging, breaking, clipping, general yard duties, feed/exercise plans, bandaging, vet work

• Worked in Australia for top racehorse trainers for 7 years as a trackwork rider and HGV driver. • Groomed for top Australian international event rider at 4* events. • Sole charge of private yards and top Event yard of 32 horses and 5 staff. • Responsibilities of exercise and feed plans for horses under my care. • Responsibilities of feed orders, keeping farrier appointments, vet appointments and worming etc up to date. • Doing written weekly reports of each horse and it’s progress and any issues that may have arisen and suggestions going forward for each individual horse. • Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment for both horses and riders. • Hacking, schooling, jumping, long reining, hunting and gallop/fitness work. • Fast and efficient on the yard and good organisational skills. • Always ensuring that the horses best interests are put first and that they are happy and healthy. • Keeping owners/trainers updated on their horses on a daily basis.

• HGV driving license - driving event horses to competitions and top race horses to and from races, beach and paddock runs. • Working with youngsters, stallions, colts and brood mares and riding yearling thoroughbreds. Breaking in 2-3 olds. • Doing barrier work and jumpouts. • Competing from the age of 8 years old in eventing, showing and dressage. • Hunting experience. • Turn out to a high standard including clipping and plaiting. • Former head girl for event yard and foreman of race yard

I used to compete until I was 20 years old eventing, showing and doing combined training. I also worked as a young child showing Connemaras when I was 10 years old.
