I don’t currently have equine qualifications, but I am happy to gain these qualifications. I am also interested in completing an instructor course.

General yard duties - Turning out/in, mucking out stables, Pooh picking, haynets, feeds, rug changes. Schooling, hacking & lunging. Preparing and assisting horse & rider at competitions. Taking charge/requests from liveries, staff & rota.

I have owned horses myself for 10 years +. I have been working as Head groom at a livery yard for the last year, whilst also assisting at competitions.

I have recently gained experience working with broodmares & foals. Although I don’t yet have experience alongside stallions, I have experience working with highly strung horses.

Having been Acting manager at my current yard, I have gained experience in running a team, taking requests/feedback from liveries & staff, whilst also piecing together monthly rota’s.

I have experience with clipping & turning out to a high standard.

I am quick at mucking out & maintain a tidy yard.

Having a young, green, previously problem horse myself… I have gained experience with how to maintain & ride these types of horses. I had to restart my horse after he began to bolt at all unnerving aspects. I have worked with him to find a happy medium where it can be managed.

I can lunge & do groundwork with youngsters. I have assisted on the ground, however I have not yet ridden a breaking project.

I ride a range of horses from projects to happy hackers

Flatwork, jumping, hacking

I compete dressage, show jumping & cross country.

I have also been a groom at competitions.
