Bio
I am currently a freelance groom. I am seeking a position that will expand my knowledge and skills as a groom.Duties of Current Occupation
Currently I am working at a riding school, I bring in/turn out the horses, groom, tack up, help the clients mount, keep yard neat and tidy, poo, muck out and poo pick.
Equine Work Experience
I have been riding and caring for horse for 20 years. I worked at a riding school as a teenager and then did 3 months doing working experience at a event yard and I am now a freelance groom, but mostly working at a large riding school.
Type of Ride Work
I have ridden a wide range of horses from new forest ponies to ex-racers. I have a very emphatic riding style and have worked with green and young horses. I have also ridden event and hunt horses, exercising them as a groom but haven't competed myself.
Competition Details
I completed 3 months work experience on a event/hunt yard. It was a very valuable experience.
