I have 9 GCSE’s (6 A’s, 2 B’s and a C) I have a level 3 qualification in animal care I am also completing my HND in animal welfare and behaviour

All general yard duties, including riding, lunging, tacking up and supervising riders.

I have ridden for over 14 years through having lessons and having various part loans over the past years. Currently I have a share, as well as schooling/receiving training from my current groom job. Although I have not got years of yard experience, I have completed 80 hours of work experience on my current yard. In additional to work experience here, on my first day I was offered a paid position so have been doing around 20 hours a week here for 4 months. I am always willing to learn more and improve my equine husbandry knowledge.

Within this groom role I have worked with a large range of horses in age/types/temperaments. This includes just broken in horses, as well as OTTB. I do all jobs to an extremely high standard at a quick pace and take a lot of care in what I do, as well as the horses. In my other current role as a Support Manager in one of the busiest Pizza Hut Deliveries in West Sussex, I am used to overlooking a large team and ensuring everyone is happy and working hard (as well as having fun!).

I have ridden a large range of horses - schoolmasters, young horses and green horses. In addition, I have ridden several horses with behavioural problems. This includes flatwork, jumping and cross country. However, I have not had experience in starting youngsters.

I have not had experience in equine competitions but would love the opportunity to do so!
