I also completed an equestrian journalism internship. This included the following duties: • Produced, researched and edited content for 15 print publications including the Life In Wiltshire magazines, Showing World and The Native Pony • Worked with local charities and businesses to promote their brands • Collaborated effectively with colleagues across the editorial, marketing and design teams to ensure content strategy achieved company objectives • Worked effectively within a tight editorial schedule • Attended events to carry out interviews, videography and networking
• Used computer programmes such as Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, Microsoft Suite and Redpin’s unique flat plan to edit and upload content and carry out administrative tasks

Type of Ride Work

As a trekking guide I rode a variety of horses, leading groups across the Brecon Beacons. The horses ranged from 4 to 24 years old and 13 to 17hh, including native ponies, Friesians, very green horses and ex-racehorses and a huge 5 year old Shire cross. Often I lead one or two beginner riders while mounted. Other rides were more advanced featuring cantering and galloping. Prior to this I lightly schooled and hacked many horses for my mother's equestrian business (Stable Hands, Chichester).

Competition Details

I have competed in many unaffiliated and Pony Club competitions over the past 12 years on my Connemara. Dressage- Novice Level Showjumping- up to 90cm ODE- 80cm Working Hunter- up to 90cm
