Cover yard manager at a western stables (responsibilities covered in my equine experience section)

I have ridden for over twelve years, owning my own horse for four years, and loaning various other horses before that time. I currently work at a Western riding stable in the UK, covering for the yard manager while she is away. My responsibilities include tacking up, mucking out, grooming, poo picking, field management, filling hay nets, aiding with liveries, and riding livery horses to name a few. I have spent time in Wyoming riding western, and am actively trying to learn more about the western way of riding.

I have primarily ridden English, and competed in both eventing and showjumping to an amateur standard in the UK. I have also ridden Western, however this has been primarily on trails rather than in an arena.

I have competed up to 90cm in showjumping as well as eventing.
