general yard duties; mucking out, feeding, turning in and out, poo picking exercising horses; schooling, jumping, hacking, lunging clipping

i have been riding for 9 years; riding a variety of different horses and ponies. i have owned my own horses for 7 years; including foals, youngsters, ex-polo and others. i have been working with horses for 3 years; working in a riding school livery yard, a little riding school yard, a livery yard and exercising and looking after other peoples horses.

i am determined, approachable and good at problem solving. i am good at managing and organising the day to day running of the yard to a very high standard. liaising with owners, farriers and vets. i can confidently take sole charge of the yard whilst the team are away competing etc. i have worked with all types of different horses, eg, foals, broodmares, livery’s horses, competition horses. i am able to muck out quickly at a high standard and i am a confident rider within any discipline.

i have ridden all types of horses such as problem horses, green inexperienced horses, young horses, i have started my own horses as i have owned them since they where foals. i can ride effectively doing flat work and jumping, and i am confident out hacking.

i have competed quite a bit in the past and will get back to it when my horses are ready, i have also been away as a groom for others competing.
