Level 3 BTEC National Extended Diploma in Animal Management - Grades MMP

Volunteered at a livery yard with my mother as a young child: helped muck out and give horses their feed. Took riding lessons between age 5-7: helped feed assigned horse after sessions, remove tack after sessions, and put rug on the horse. On required work placement with college, I helped my boss by: mucking out her horse; mixing horse's feed; tying the horse outside while mucking out; tying up a net for the horse; and picking the horse's feet. Part-loaned a horse: mucking out the horse; applying cream to areas affected by sweet itch; and turning the horse out into the field safely. Done an Animal Management course at college of which we went offsite: full stable clean of donkeys and ponies; mucking out of donkeys and ponies; poo-picking donkey and pony enclosure; soaking hay nets for ponies which had laminitis and cushings; and administering wormer to the donkeys. Owning a horse: mucking out; turning horse out; tying nets up, tying horse up whilst mucking out; picking feet; etc.
