Now looking to take my dressage career to the next step and turning my passion into my work. I hope to achieve more in the equine industry wether that be experience or qualifications.

I began riding at the age off 10 years old, I attended regular lessons weekly and progressed very quickly. I started to volunteer at my local riding stables at 13 years old in return for a free lesson on a Saturday. I would have one flatwork lesson and a jumping lesson. I continued this until I bought my first horse. I started to compete very competitively in dressage and worked my way up through the levels. I worked for Coral Keen on her 5* event yard for my school work experience. Since then I’ve worked for local yards doing schooling livery. I also have produced a couple projects myself, meaning I have gained lots off experience on flatwork and lateral work. I now currently own a 17hh Dutch Warmblood called Gandalf who I purchased from my local eventer Louisa Lockwood to take me higher up the levels in my dressage career. He has been working at medium level work and after a break is now returning, my journey with him continues meaning I’m gaining more experience everyday.

My ability to school a horse with a purpose to every ride is one off my top strengths, I never enter an arena without a goal or target. My understanding off different equine behaviours and being able to adapt to suite each horses individual needs/requirements. I am able to bring variety to a horses work load. Always never leaving a task unfinished and will always be completed to a good standard. Keen to learn new skills and will always remain positive, enthusiastic and passionate about my work.

I have experience on schooling livery and sales livery in my area. I also have experience in working on a 5* event yard dealing with high level competition horses. I am now looking for a role that specialises in my true passion (dressage) that can expand my knowledge, improve my ability, teach me new skills, help me progress up the levels, open a door for more opportunities and most importantly be part off a brilliant team who shares the same passion.
