I worked both in a hunting and an eventing yard as a working student at university, and taught on summer camp in the States. I also rode for the RDA exercising their horses at university. I was on the university student riding team, including captaining it, and did inter-university riding competitions for four years, including the Scottish Championships, and an invitation international (showjumping). I got a university Half Blue for riding. My own horse, a Czech warmblood who I got as a three year old went up to Advanced Medium/ training Prix St Georges and won the Czech National Junior championship (not with me as I was too old), and also jumped. I had regular training with Daniel Pevsner, Adam Kemp and Pammy Hutton, and lessons on Tallands’ advanced schoolmasters which I rode up to Inter 1/inter2 level. I then stopped doing proper dressage after my marriage in 2000, and my horse went out on permanent loan. I have ridden intermittently since then, including riding out for an MFA.

I am looking to get back into dressage after a 20 year break.
