Duties of Current Occupation

Worked at my family cafe business from 14 to 18. Currently work as a waitress at an Italian restaurant. Taken on dog sitting and walking jobs in past.

Equine Work Experience

Past work at a small livery yard, doing evening work such a bringing in, mucking out, haying and feeding, topping up water, behaviour and health observation, lunging and exercising other people's horses upon request. I also volunteered as a young teenager at a riding school which included tacking up horses for lessons, putting rugs on and making haynets. Been to a few shows but more skilled in horse care then riding but looking to improve. Due to having my own pony I know all about their health, wellbeing and care. I have experience giving medication, making up feeds, measuring out haynets to match the weight of the horse, building horse fitness plans, worming, ragworting and much more! I'm very interested in learning more and developing my skills.

Specialities

No experience with foals/stallions although eager to learn, I have handled young and green horses while working at the livery. Not led a team but used to being part of one, due to my industry experience I've had to learn to quickly fit in and adapt to teams. I'm good at teamwork, communication and pull my weight.

Type of Ride Work

I've had my pony since he had just turned 5, I've been riding 5 years but I would say I still need improvement. I'm competent with flatwork, polework and hacking, have jumped courses in the past.

Competition Details

I've taken my pony to a dressage competition, a hunter trial, have done a jump course at a competition, have also done gymkhana style games.
