I have been in full time employment and freelanced in a number of different yards such as: Hunting yard, Backing and rehab yard, 5* event yard, Showjumping yard… Each of these places I have ridden and undertaken yard duties to a high standard.

I work happily in a team and sole charge and will happily step up and take the lead when necessary. I have assisted in the care of young stock and very capable of handling big fit competition horses. I can offer clipping, plaiting, bathing, fitness exercise, flat and jump schooling, hacking and ride and lead.

In the past I have produced a young Connemara who has gone on to be a lovely PC pony, retrained an ex racer fresh off the track, and most recently slowly produced my quirky TB to the point he’s ready to start his eventing career. For work I’ve got hunters fit and ready for the hunting season, taken youngsters out to their first arena hires and competitions, helped exercising 5* event riders horses and had a variety of rides in a backing and rehab yard.

In the past I have competed (low level) eventing, hunter trials, dressage, showjumping, tried a bit of everything! Working with young horses and exracers racers has been a focus of mine as I truly enjoy this however being more competitive is a huge ambition of mine as I’d love to give eventing my best shot and see how far I can go!
